Lake City Picture Framing is a locally owned family business established in 1951 in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to provide you with the best picture framing experience possible. Our highly qualified staff have a combined work experience of over 50 years to provide you with excellent workmanship.

Come see us to get the best value for your dollars. We fully protect and value your art. We are a full service frame shop offering high quality custom framing as well as materials for the do-it–yourself framer. We have the largest variety of materials and services available in Puget Sound.

Your art does not leave our store. No one else is working on your art except our expert staff. With over 7800 sq. ft. we are the largest picture framing store in Seattle. We have several large design tables to accommodate our custom framing projects.  

We can do the entire job for you, all you do is display it when you return home. For the do-it-yourself customers you can use our design tables to decide what materials you want and finish your project at home. We will cut and join a wood frame, if it is metal you receive four cut to size sticks plus hardware. We cut the glass, the foam core and mat. You assemble at home. Due to insurance liabilities you are not allowed to assemble your art on our design tables.

We will do our best to correct any defects in materials of our frames. We want you to be happy with your purchase. Unfortunately we can not be responsible for your art falling off the wall.

We wish we could give a complete price quote on the phone, but until you pick your materials we can not quote what it will cost. It is like calling the grocery store and asking how much is a bag of groceries.

When it comes to glass, what you see in the store may not be the same in your home. There is no such thing as invisible glass, all glass has some degree of glare. Different kinds of glass will either increase or decrease the amount of glare.
